In the Spotlight: Episode 16
Hi everyone and welcome back to In The Spotlight; we are ready and raring to go for 2018. To kick off this week we have an all girls Spotlight varying from swimming success, dancing, gymnastics, singing and Brownies. What a great start! All girls have thoroughly enjoyed bringing in their outside successes and sharing them in assembly and here today. We are so proud of them all!
To begin with we have a pupil who has studied gymnastics for many years and is achieving awards for her fantastic routines and demonstrations. A great way to keep fit and enjoy the weekend! Secondly, we have two sisters who have both shone with success. One for her amazing dancing at a show in London leading to her being featured in the official programme and the other for progressing so much in her swimming she is now working hard to achieve her Level 6 certificate – at the age of just 6!
We then have a fantastic Brownie who kindly brought in her sash and uniform to school. She has so many badges! Another brilliant achievement at a great club outside of school. Well done!
Finally, we have another Year 3 pupil who won an award after stepping in to cover another dancer. Not only was she kind enough to help out she did a superb job in doing the freestyle dance routine with confidence and now wants to join in at the dance club even more. An incredible achievement!
Well done to all on Spotlight this week and don’t forget if you want to be part of it please bring in your outside achievements and we will be glad to celebrate your successes!
