Frozen in Time
On Monday 4th February 2019 Ezra class went to the Greenwich Maritime Museum because we are studying ‘Frozen Kingdom’ and the Titanic. We hopped on to the bus to Dartford train station. Before long we were on the 9:45 to Maze Hill. Much later we were strolling a 10-min walk to the museum.
Eventually, we started our initial activity, we got categorised in to 1st class, 2nd class and 3rd class and we were given a postcard to write to our mythical mothers and fathers. Moments later we were given the food menu for each class: I was first class so we were given a posh French menu.
When this was complete we had a practical experience including loading a boat and learning Morse Code. However we played a game of Quoits before this. We completed our booklets then observed the stunning artefacts including Robert Douglas Norman’s watch which is encased with gold. The luxurious pocket watch wowed us all drastically.
