Poetry with Year 6
In Year 6 we held our parents sharing event for the topic “Frozen Kingdom’. During this event we had the opportunity to share our Aurora Borealis Video we created by reciting the Haiku Poetries we wrote.
Also, we played some Kahoot games linked to Titanic and some maths! It was a fun filled afternoon. Here are a few comments from our parents who attended the event:
‘I really enjoyed the sharing event in Year 6, it was lovely to see what children have been learning on their topic so far and how ICT helps their learning. Great to show our children that we are also interested in their learning and daily lessons in school.’
‘Thank you for organising the parent sharing event. It gives the opportunity to know our kids better and look at what they have been learning in the class environment. I was pleasantly surprised to watch Aadit play the maths games as he was much quicker than I am in the calculations. Thank you Mrs Mohideen for all your efforts in making learning such an enjoyable experience for our kids.’
‘We found the sharing event very interesting and enjoyed the quiz about Titanic! It’s always good to see how much the class are learning.’
‘I really like the way the school is using ICT to enhance children’s learning experiences while doing maths and topics.’
