On Tuesday 26th, and Thursday 28th of March, both Year 4 classes spent a fascinating and mesmerising day at the Sea Life Centre in London. This was a fantastic trip opportunity that tied in really well with our current topic – Blue Abyss. Learning all about underwater creatures, famous divers and explorers has been very interesting at school, and it was finally time to see lots of these in real life.
At the Sea Life centre we touched prickly star fish, found brightly coloured, tiny, poisonous dart frogs, discovered that daddy seahorses can give birth to 150 babies and marvelled at the sea world above us as we walked through underwater tunnels and looked into huge glass containers.
So what did the Year 4 children have to say about it…
“It was the best trip ever!”
“The ocean tunnel was amazing!”
“I can’t wait to go back and see it all again!”
