St George’s Day Parade
Children from Key Stage 2 spent a fabulous afternoon celebrating St George’s Day by participating in Dartford’s annual parade.
Children carried a staff of St George that they made previously at an art workshop and helped lead the parade, beside the Mayor and marching band, through the town centre and in to Central Park. The event culminated in watching Morris dancing, folk bands and Bangra musicians. The children even had a chance to join in and sing one of their favourite George Ezra songs!
Thanks to those parents that joined us on the route to see their children.
It was a great start to the new term.
